- to name just a few…..

I have over 17 years experience as a maker, as well as being a gallery director and curator for the past 7. My career has given me many opportunities and insights into how the craft world works. I am now running 'brain-picking' sessions for makers who would like to develop or expand their creative practice and business’.

I have been running a successful craft business since graduating in 1999. I have experience of selling, both retail and wholesale, through exhibitions and craft fairs, nationally and internationally. I opened my own gallery and workshop space, Unit Twelve, in May 2010. In this time I have been running art workshops with various groups of different ages, abilities and backgrounds. I have a successful track record in both private and public commissions, with my work in 5 major gallery collections, and have also undertaken many artists in residencies.

My work has been featured in over 50 periodicals, including Vogue, Grand Designs and Elle Decoration to name just a few, and is featured daily on numerous blogs, as I have developed a massive viral web presence through social media.

If you would like to draw upon this wealth of experience I am offering a friendly informal mentoring service by which you can come to my gallery, Unit Twelve and ‘pick my brains’ over a cup of tea, on subjects you feel you may need help with in your own practice.

Please contact me directly if you would like to book a slot, priced at £50 per hour.

Her honest, constructive, & some times critical advice made me really look at my practice to give me a clear & inspiring path to take.
